Social Dialogue Report 2022: Collective bargaining for an inclusive, sustainable and resilient recovery
May 2022 | Chinese, English, French, Spanish
The first edition of the ILO Social Dialogue Report focuses on collective bargaining and its role in securing decent work, guaranteeing equality of opportunity and treatment, reducing wage inequality and stabilizing labour relations. It analyses how collective bargaining helped mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on employment and earnings, reduced inequality and reinforced the resilience of enterprises and labour markets. By tailoring public health measures, strengthening occupational safety and health, and ensured paid sick leave and healthcare benefits through collective agreements, social partners shaped solutions that protected workers and supported business continuity.
