MSME productivity, inclusive growth and decent work creation

This report prepared by the ILO together with the OECD for the 2nd G20 Employment Working Group meeting explains how productivity in MSMEs can be increased through a comprehensive approach. The "Productivity Ecosystem for Decent Work" framework addresses the main MSME productivity drivers, such as management and workforce skills, business digitalisation, enterprise formalization and access to social protection. It takes a sector and local perspective to account for the significant variations in productivity challenges across sectors and regions.
