High-Level Ministerial Meeting of the Just Transition International Advisory Board

On 11 June 2026, Barbados and Germany, co-chairs of the Just Transition International Advisory Board, are convening the first meeting of the Ministerial International Advisory Board. This meetings aims to: 

• Take stock of progress achieved under the Key Intervention and launch the Just Transition Policy Gateway; 
• Strengthen strategic partnerships and enhance coordination among governments, social partners, and international organisations;
• Identify opportunities to scale impact, accelerate implementation, and mobilize collective action in support of a globally inclusive and socially just transition, in particular through the Call to Action on Fostering Social Dialogue for a Just Transition to a Resilient Low-Carbon Economy; 
• Provide high-level guidance on the future direction and political positioning of the initiative.
